PSImetals Quality

PSImetals Release 5.26 offers new Order Dressing enhancements, including Production Orders Monitor and permissions for Derivation Tables.

At a glance:

• In the new dashboard Production Order Monitor, visually rich charts are created to show the aggregation of the available measures by available dimensions

• PSImetals offers a selection of predefined charts and KPIs, but the expert user granted corresponding permissions can customize the dashboard

• A new system of permissions for Derivation Tables (DerTab) has been implemented in order to control the possibility of editing Derivation Tables (DerTab) in Order Dressing

With the new release 5.26, the decision of which test results are used for certification can be configured to also include results that were already available at an earlier stage.

At a glance:

• Experts in specific production steps can immediately solve "release issues" at the intermediate production step level

• No need to repeat decisions or operations performed at the PQD level when the material reaches the FQD

• Increased efficiency in release operations, which saves  time and communication efforts

With 5.26, the requirement of displaying multiple convertible measurement units on curve charts, and for the coordinate system of the coil surface, was reviewed.

At a glance:

• Possibility to scale axes according to two different measurement units, (for example, length, width, and temperature, in both the metric and US customary systems)

• The curve charts now include a configurable title, which can contain free editable text but also content based on the material for which the chart is plotted

• The autoscale function for the y-axis has been introduced

• A new statistic regarding surface defects is provided

PSImetals Quality is progressively migrating from PL/SQL to PSI’s own Service Platform framework. With Release 5.26, the execution of the Process Quality Decision (PQD) with Quality Indicators can be performed in the new framework.

New PQD Screen at a glance:

• In the first tab, an Embedded Business Intelligence dashboard “PQD Monitor” aggregates all results of executed Process Quality Decisions, enabling their monitoring  with the support of KPIs as well (a drill down analysis by application of dedicated filters is also enabled)

• In the second tab, the PSIweb List View “PQD Overview” reports each single PQD with evaluation of tests and characteristics (filters applied in the “PQD Monitor” are carried over to this list view)

• In a third tab “PQD Detail”, details of the Quality Process Snapshot related to each PQD are shown, including QI values, process data charts and Material Genealogy
